Ameer of a faction of Islami Oikya Jote (IOJ) Mufti Fazlul Haque Amini Wednesday warned of taking legal action against the government for what he said, the government was interfering in his personal activities, reports UNB. "The government has been interfering in my personal activities, depriving me of my fundamental rights.. If necessary, I will file case against the government," Amini said while addressing the second session of representative conference of IOJ in the city in the afternoon. Earlier, police cordoned off the Lalbagh residence of Amini since Wednesday morning as he was scheduled to attend the party's conference held at the National Press Club (NPC). "I made attempts several times to come out of my residence for going to the Press Club to attend conference, but I failed as police obstructed me", he said. However, he was allowed to go to Lalbagh Madrasah later on. Leaders and activists of IOJ went to Lalbagh Madrasah after completion of its first session in the NPC. Addressing the session, Amini also said if the government does not cancel the proposed women development policy, "Almighty Allah will curse the government." He also said the government will have to quit before the end of its tenure.
