Tuesday, 17 May 2011

An Islamist leader has told his followers that they may have to face a tough test in their movement to protect the Quran, reports bdnews24.com. Chairman of a faction of Islami Oikya Jote (IOJ) Fazlul Haque Amini told his party members Monday, "It's the rule. The Quran and Hadith says that merely believing is not enough, true Muslims should also face tough test of their belief." Over 50 leaders and activists of the Islamist party who have recently been released from jails called on Amini at his office in Dhaka's Lalbagh.
