AMTOB gets new secy gen

The Association of Mobile Telecom Operators of Bangladesh (AMTOB) has appointed Brigadier General (Retd) S M Farhad as its new secretary general, reports UNB.
AMTOB President Michael Patrick Foley praised Brig Gen Farhad describing him as an excellent leader. Farhad played a vital role in ensuring registration of pre-activated SIM cards of all mobile operators back in 2012. He joined the Bangladesh Army in 1984 and accomplished various military courses and training at home and abroad.
