Monday, 19 May 2014

Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu on Monday urged Danish entrepreneurs to invest in Bangladesh’s environment-friendly shipbuilding and pharmaceutical sectors. “If any specific proposal for investment in the potential sectors of Bangladesh is made, it will be considered properly,” he told Danish ambassador in Dhaka Ms Hanne Fugl Eskjaer during a meeting at his industries ministry office. The minister said Bangladeshi entrepreneurs have already started exporting ships. The Danish envoy said entrepreneurs of Denmark are interested to invest in the environment-friendly green industry sector of Bangladesh. A joint business delegation comprising entrepreneurs of Denmark and Sweden will visit Bangladesh in this regard, according to a news agency.
