Amu for recasting BSCIC

Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu on Sunday underscored the need for recasting Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) in a bid to turn Bangladesh into an industrialised middle-income country by 2021. He made the observation while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion on the role of BSCIC in creating small and middle entrepreneurs and self-employment, and alleviating poverty at BSCIC conference room in the city. The programme also marked the distribution of stipend among the children of the BSCIC employees, according to a news agency.
