Amu looks forward to S’pore investment

Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu on Sunday said the government is looking forward to Singaporean investment to invest in the power generation and agro-processing industries in the country. The minister said this when the Singaporean High Commissioner Chan Heng Wing called on him at the ministry. Amu also suggested that Singapore can consider recruiting more manpower from Bangladesh in coming days. The Singaporean High Commissioner praised the skills of Bangladeshi professionals employed in Singapore. The envoy assured the Industries Minister of taking due steps to convey Bangladesh’s desire to send more manpower to Singapore, according to a news agency.
