Amu to attend Delhi Business Summit

Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu left on Thursday for New Delhi to take part in the 10th North East Business Summit, reports BSS.
Indian Chamber of Commerce is organising the summit to be held on March 13-14 to strengthen participatory industry and trade relations among the member countries of the ASEAN and BIMSTEC, said a PID handout.
Ministers from Bangladesh, Cambodia, Japan, Nepal, Bhutan and Singapore and chief ministers of Sikkim, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Meghalaya states of India will take part in the summit.
A thousand representatives of banking and financial institutions, corporate organisations, entrepreneurs and investors will also participate.
Important issues including infrastructure, power and energy, communication, industries, agriculture, tourism and human resource development will be discussed at the summit.
The minister would highlight the opportunities and facilities being offered by the government to the foreign investors on investment in Bangladesh.
