Bangladesh U19 skipper Anamul Haque (Bijoy), the highest run-scorer of just concluded ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup 2012 held in Australia, is a player to be watched in the coming years of Bangladesh Cricket, reports UNB.
Hyped as one of the stars to feature in this year's U-19 World Cup, Anamul has played for Khulna Division in the National Cricket League 2011/12 season, Dhaka Gladiators in BPL 2012 before being drafted for Bangladesh in the T20 tri-series in Zimbabwe in June.

The right-handed batsman Anamul played the tournament's second best innings (128 runs) in terms of runs just behind Afghanistan's Javed Ahmadi's 134-run against Scotland.
Anamul who appeared third best in batting average also found his name as first in the most-hundreds chart.
In the tournament opener against Sri Lanka, he led from the front to a 25-run victory with a match winning knock of 101 runs off 127 balls with nine fours and a six. In the 5th place play-off against England, Anamul scored a half century (56 off 80 balls with eight fours) though Bangladesh failed to win the match.
But in the 7th place play-off, Anamul was in a marauding mood slamming eight sixes and five fours to beat Pakistan handily by chasing down the target (236) with 22 balls to spare. In the match, he paired with Litton Das in the second wicket to register the tournament's second best partnership of 179 runs with Litton contributing 53 runs.
