Anarchists identified, raids start : DMP

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Asaduzzaman Miah said Wednesday they have already identified the bombers, their financiers and patrons and raids have already been started to capture them, reports BSS.
"We know those responsible for the recent violence and anarchy. The list of their financiers and patrons is now in our hand. Raids are going on in DMP areas to nab them and it will continue," Mr Asaduzzaman made the comments while speaking to journalists after distributing warm clothes among the poor at Kamlapur Railway Station Wednesday morning.
"As part of the raid, five Shibir (student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami) activists have been captured from the city with bomb- making equipment," he also said.
Calling upon the countrymen to resist the anarchists, he said: "Let all of us to form a united resistance against the violence and anarchy."
Replying to a query about adopting new strategy to capture the bombers, the DMP boss said: "No operation could be conducted by beating drums. All necessary measures will be taken."
