Anis new MD of MTB

Mr Anis A Khan, leading banking and finance professional, Wednesday joined Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) as managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO), says a press release.
Prior to joining MTB, he served IDLC Finance Limited as CEO and managing director for six years.
Under his leadership, IDLC has got a strong footing and emerged as a state of the art technology driven unique multi-product financial institution in the country.
Before joining IDLC, Anis served the then Grindlays Bank PLC, ANZ Grindlays Bank and Standard Chartered Bank under different capacities both in Bangladesh and abroad.
Anis brings along with him rich experiences and specialised training in the banking and financial services industry including corporate and personal banking, investment banking and capital market products and services, leasing, factoring, mergers and acquisitions, operations, information technology, legal and compliance.
Mr Anis possesses a number of academic and professional qualifications. He qualified in the BCS Examination 1982 and is a regular speaker on banking, finance, corporate governance, etc both at home and abroad.
He is also a director of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) nominated by the government.
