Anisul for holding UP polls without symbol

BRAHMANBARIA, Jan 27 (BSS): Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Anisul Huq here on Saturday said it would be good for the country if the Upazila Parishad election is held without party symbol.
He said the people of the country want to engage in Upazila Parishad election without party symbol. "That is why Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has decided not to nominate any candidate with the symbol boat for the upcoming election" he added.
