Anniv of Jahurul Islam’s death today

FE Report The 18th death anniversary of Jahurul Islam, a pioneer of the country's business sector and the founding chairman of Islam Group, will be observed today (Saturday). He passed away on October 19 in 1995 at the age of 67, said a press release. Mr Islam was born into a respectable Muslim family on August 1, 1928. On the occasion, a milad mahfil will be held at his village home at Bhagalpur in Kishoreganj. All relatives and well-wishers are requested to attend the mahfil and pray for his eternal peace. All organisations of the Islam Group will remain closed on Saturday as a mark of respect to late Jahurul Islam.
