Annual Business Conference of Eastland Insurance held

The annual business conference-2026 of Eastland Insurance was held on January 24 at the Officers' Club, Baily Road, Dhaka, according to a press release.
Mahbubur Rahman, chairman of the company, inaugurated the event. Mohammed Salim, chief executive officer of the company, presented the yearly performance report of the company.
The company achieved 88 per cent of the business targets set for 2025 amid economic challenges and saw a 5 per cent rise in turnover compared to the previous year.
Vice Chairman Rizwan Rahman appreciated IDRA rules of zero commission to avoid unhealthy market competition. He requested all marketing officers to abide by the IDRA guidelines, despite unethical practices in the market, for the betterment of the insurance industry.
Eastland Insurance stepped into 40th year of successful operation.
