ANNUAL MEETING OF ASA & GSA HELD IN INDONESIA

Indonesian National Shippers' Council (INSC) organised an annual meeting of the Asian Shippers' Alliance (ASA) & Global Shippers' Alliance (GSA) in Bali, Indonesia on 6 November. A two-member delegation of Shippers' Council of Bangladesh (SCB) headed by its Chairman, Md. Rezaul Karim attended the meeting. Senior Vice Chairman Md. Ariful Ahsan also attended the meeting. During the Asian Shippers' Alliance (ASA) session, elections for the 2026-2027 term were held. The meeting unanimously elected the Thai National Shippers' Council's (TNSC) Chairman as the new ASA Chairman. The Chairman of Shippers' Council of Bangladesh (SCB), Australian Peak Shippers' Association (APSA) and The Hong Kong Shippers' Council (HKSC) were appointed as Vice Chairmen.
