Another accused held in Rajon murder case

The Detective Branch (DB) of Police arrested Ayaj Ali, 45, a suspected killer of Sheikh Samiul Alam Rajon, a 13-year-old boy who was brutally killed by a section of miscreants in Sylhet early this month. "Ayaj Ali was arrested as his involvement was found with the murder of innocent child Rajon", said Sub-Inspector Suranjit, an investigation officer of Rajon murder case. According to the police, the DB police in association with Jalalabad thana arrested Ayaj Ali from Sheikhpara of Kumargaon area. Ayaj, son of Mostafa Ali, hailed from Doara Bazar area under Sunamganj district. Rajon died as the miscreants fasten him with a pole in a motor vehicle garage in Sylhet on July 8 beat him mercilessly to death. Police, so far, arrested 13 people in this connection, according to a news agency.
