Another cache of arms & ammo recovered

HABIGANJ: Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members recovered another cache of arms and ammunition on the second day of their drive Wednesday at Satchhari jungles along the Indian border in Chunarughat upazila, according to a news agency.
Today’s haul include 222 (80 mm) anti-rockets,  248 rocket-chargers, four machineguns (7.62), five barrels, 11667 rounds of 7.62 mm bullets, 1320 rounds of 12.7 mm bullets and a rocket launcher.
On Tuesday, a team of Rab-9, led by additional director general Ziaul Ahsan, launched a special drive at Satachhari jungle at 10 am and  recovered huge arms and ammunition from two bunkers. They halted the drive in the evening due to heavy rain.
The Rab team resumed the drive early Wednesday. Rab director general Md Mokhlesur Rahman joined the special drive in the morning.
