Another case filed against ex BNP MP

NARAYANGANJ, Sept 14 (UNB): Another case was filed against former BNP lawmaker Giasuddin Thursday on charge of extortion.
Abul Bashar, a lime businessman of Shiddhirganj area, filed the case with Shiddhirganj thana against Giasuddin.
According to the case, Bashar paid a total Tk 1.92 million to Giasuddin in four installments between the years 2002 and 2003 following a threat of stopping his lime business.
