Another Hall-Mark company sued

Sonali Bank has sued a company of Hall-Mark Group to realise around Tk 300 million from them. The Hall-Mark group is embroiled in numerous financial scams. Sonali Bank’s Rupasi Bangla corporate branch official Abdus Salam filed the case at Dhaka’s Money Loan Court-1 on Tuesday, said bench clerk Mojibur Rahman. The Hall-Mark company now sued is called ‘Bobby Fashion’. Hall-Mark Group Managing Director (MD) Tanvir Mahmud and Chairperson Jesmine Islam have been made accused in the case. Both are MD and chairperson of ‘Bobby Fashion’. At least 10 cases have so far been filed against Hall-Mark and its companies in this court last month, said Rahman. On March 27, cases were filed against three companies of the group, according to bdnews24.com.
