Another Rab man confesses guilt in N\\\'ganj 7-murder

Another members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) gave confessional statement before a Narayanganj court over the sensational 7-murder. Former army personnel of the Naraynaganj-based Rab-11 Asaduzzaman gave the statement separately in two cases before the court of Senior Judicial Magistrates KM Mohiuddin and Manwara Begum. The recording of his confessional statement continued till Thursday evening. Earlier on Sunday, Asaduzzaman was placed a 7-day remand for interrogation. Officer-in-Charge Mamunur Rashid of district DB and also investigation officer of the case said the Rab man gave the statement in 2 separate cases, 1 for abducting 7 people and the other for killing them. Narayanganj City Corporation Councilor Nazrul Islam, the district bar association member senior lawyer Chandan Kumar Sarkar and five others were kidnapped in Narayanganj on April 27 and the bodies of 6 were found floating in Shitalakkha River on April 30. The body of Nazrul Islam’s driver was found 1 day later on May 1 in Dhaleshwari River, according to a news agency.
