Another tanker blast victim dies

Another victim of the Jamuna oil tanker explosion in Chittagong has died after 11 days of struggle to live. Nazim Uddin, 40, succumbed to his burn injuries at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Monday. Nazim died around 9.30am, said DMCH burn unit’s resident physician Partha Shanka Paul. On Feb 28, a tanker of state-owned Jamuna Oil exploded leaving nine workers injured. They were initially admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital. Seven of them were shifted to the DMCH the next day. One of the victims, Shamsul Alam, died on Mar 5, according to bdnews24.com.
