Ansar dominate in Nat'l Cycling championship

KURIGRAM, Apr 9 (UNB): Bangladesh Ansar and VDP dominated the NCC Bank 33rd National Cycling Championship that began here Thursday with three events decided on the first day of the three-day meet.
Ansar and VDP team secured two gold and two silver medals while Dhaka DSA followed with one gold medal.
Muktijoddha Sangsad KC won one silver medal, while Bangladesh Jail, Bagerhat and Narayanganj DSAs took one bronze medal each on the first day.
Over 100 cyclists, including 30 women, from 14 teams are competing in the 23 events of the meet organised by Bangladesh Cycling Federation.
Participating teams: Bangladesh Ansar and VDP, Bangladesh Jail, Muktijoddha Sangsad KC, BJMC, Thakurgaon, Narail, Bagerhat, Dhaka, Khulna, Narayanganj, Jessore, Panchaghar, Dinajpur and Kurigram DSAs.
