Ansar member killed in Manikganj

MANIKGANJ, July 23 (BSS): An Ansar member, who engaged in working at Ghior Upazila Family Planning Office as a night guard, was killed by one of his associates.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Kuddus, 40, a resident of Boro Hatkora village under Daulatpur upazila of the district.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ghior Police Station Riaz uddin Ahmed Biplob said the body was recovered around 7 am today from the Ghior Upazila Parishad premises and sent it to Manikganj 250-bed hospital for autopsy.
Police arrested Md Shahin, another Ansar, in this connection from Upazila Ansar Office and they recovered a local sharp weapon from his possession which was used for killing Abdul Kuddus, the OC added.
