Anti-British movement leader passes away

SYLHET, June 1 (UNB): Suhashini Das, a veteran anti-British movement leader, died of old age ailments at Central Clinic in the city's Howrapara area on Saturday night. She was 94.
She was selected as 'Sada Moner Manush' for her social service.
Suhashini Das, wife of late Kumud Chandra Das, left behind a daughter and a grandson and a granddaughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
Hearing the death news, people from all walks of life, including politicians, educationists and cultural activists, thronged the hospital.
