Anti-corruption body formed in Rangamati

RANGAMATI, July 10 (BSS): A 13-member anti-corruption committee of Rangamati district was formed Friday with Mayadhan Chakma, former chairman of Rangamati Sadar Upazila Parishad, and headmaster in-charge of Shah High School SM Mainuddin, as its president and vice-president respectively.
Concerned sources said the committee was formed following a directive issued by Director General of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Abu Mohammad Mostafa Kamal.
Other members of the committee are former UP member Merry Marma, development worker and researcher Shaon Farid, principal of Kids' Explorer School Abdul Quader, development worker Abbasuddin Chowdhury, Ripon Chakma, Shuvadarshi Vante, religious teacher of Rani Doyamoyee High School Abul Kashem, lawyer of Rangamati Judges Court Ushamoy Chakma, Vice-Principal of Shishu Niketon Mostafa Kamal, Nasrin Akhtar and Noku Chakma.
