GOPALGANJ, Feb 24: A discussion meeting was held on anti-drug and Eve-teasing at Bangabandhu College auditorium in Gopalganj town recently. The discussion meeting was organised by Sundarban regiment, BNCC, Khulna. G.M. Kamrul Islam NDC, PSC, DG, Bangladesh National Cadet corps speaking was the chief guest while Lt Col Toufiq-E-Elahi PSC presided. Jetandranath Bala, Professor Bangabandhu College, KM. Tarikul Islam ADC (Gen), Gopalganj, Sk. Md. Abdullah, Major Shahiduzzaman, Major Pankaj, Lt Shah Alam, Lt, Col Toufiq-E-Elahi PSC, Captain Sarder Noorul Islam BTFO Commander-2 Sundarban Battalion Bangladesh National Cadet corps and Muhammad Shafiqul Islam PUO, Govt. Bangabandhu College, Gopalganj, addressed on the occasion. The speakers said a social movement should be built against drug use and immoral behaviour and every guardian should be a part of it to ensure a good feature for our next generation. At least 200 cadets, male and female, coming from six southern districts attended the discussion meeting. The districts are Gopalganj, Madaripur, Bagerhat, Pirojpur and Jhalakathi. Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah, MP, Gopalganj constituency-3 inaugurated the rally.
