Anti-liberation forces inciting students in name of quota reform: Shajahan

Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan said on Saturday anti-liberation forces are still trying to destabilise the country and they are instigating students in the name of quota reform, reports BSS.
"This evil force wanted to get rid of ideology of Father of the Nation and spirit of Liberation War through the murder of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. But they failed in their design," he said.
The minister said these while addressing a discussion on Bangabandhu's contribution in establishing inter-religion harmony at the National Press Club. Inter Religion Harmony Society (IRHS) organised the discussion and it was presided over by its chairman Miah Mujibur Rahman.
Former vice-chancellor of Dhaka University Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique, Prof Dr Syed Anwar Hossain, Prof Dr Tapan D Rosario, Prof Dr Motaiar Rahman, Dr Mohammad Abdul Hai and Islamic Foundation director general Shamim Md Afzal addressed the discussion, among others.
