Anwer Hossain Khan and Mohiuddin Ahmed have been elected chairman and vice chairman respectively of the Executive Committee (EC) of the Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited recently.
Anwer Hossain Khan was born at Ramganj in Laxmipur District.
He obtained Masters degree with Honours in Accounting from Dhaka University in 1988.
He is chairman and managing director of the Modern Group of Companies, Modern Diagnostic Centre Limited, Anwer Khan Modern Hospital Limited, Dhaka Telecommunication, Modern Environmental Technologies and Shakhawat Anowara Eye Hospital.
He is also associated with many social welfare and charitable organisations.
Mohiuddin Ahmed is the chairman of Rupsha Trading Corporation, Mohiuddin and Company and Pacific Automobile.
