Apollo Hospitals launches hand wash awareness week

Apollo Hospitals has started a week-long hand wash awareness campaign title 'Spread the word not the germs' reducing the spread of infectious diseases in the city recently, said a press release.
In partnership with Lifebuoy, the handwashing week will continue up to March 25.
The aim of the campaign is to build awareness among people of hand washing and the benefits it brings.
Mrs Sue Potter, wife of Apollo Hospitals CEO, inaugurated the campaign.
Among others, CEO Michael S Potter, Director of Medical Services, Dr Mohaammed Naseem Siddiq and other senior management officials were present on the occasion.
The campaign is designed with various events including colouring and painting competitions among the children of the visitors as well as patients and employees, spot checks at the hospital, video display and seminars on how to wash hands properly.
