Appeal to cancel lease of riverbanks

In a joint statement fifteen eminent citizens including politicians have demanded that the lease of riverbanks be cancelled, reports UNB.
They also demanded that persons involved with the lease, despite a ruling by the High Court to the contrary, be brought to book. The signatories to the statement include Pankaj Bhattacharya, president of NAP (Unity), Nurur Rahman Selim, GS of Ganotontri Party and  CPB leader Ruhin Hossain Prince.
