Wednesday, 6 October 2010

The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court Tuesday set October 7 to hear a petition filed by Election Commissioner Sahul Hussain seeking stay of a High Court order, reports BSS.
A High Court bench on September 28 issued the order asking Sahul Hussain to appear before the court in person on October 7.
Hussain filed the petition Tuesday before the chamber judge of the Appellate Division seeking stay of the High Court order but the chamber judge Justice M Mozzammel Hossain, without issuing any order, referred it before the full court fixing October 7 to hear the petition.
