Applications for Meena Media Awards 2010 invited

Like every year, UNICEF Bangladesh announced Meena Media Awards 2010 to adult and child journalists for excellence in print and electronic m edia, said a press release.
This year stories and articles written by different age groups (under 18 and above 18) and four categories will be eligible for the awards.
The categories are: Print media-reports (news reports, features, post editorials) while creative (articles, stories, poems), for television-reports (news reports, features, documentaries) while creative (programmes other than news-short film, plays, songs)
News, articles, features and television programmes that investigate and explore children's issues to improve the lives of children in Bangladesh, or provide healthy entertainment for children will be eligible to compete for the awards.
Entries should have been published or broadcast between June 1, 2009 and May 31, 2010. The deadline to receive entries is July 30, 2010.
