Appoint 2,500 teachers recommended by NTRCA: HC
FE REPORT | Thursday, 2 June 2022
The High Court on Wednesday ordered the Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) to recommend appointment of 2,500 people, who passed all relevant exams, as teachers to different private educational institutions.
The High Court bench of Justice Kashefa Hussain and Justice Fatema Najib passed the order after hearing a writ petition filed by the registered candidates.
Lawyers Siddique Ullah Miah, Moniruzzaman Asad and others appeared in the hearing on behalf of the writ petitioners.
Later, Mr Siddique Ullah said, "The NTRCA published the circular for the 13th exams in 2016. But the NTRCA was not appointing the qualified candidates who had been selected through three-step examinations. Under such circumstances, the candidates submitted memorandum to the NTRCA for their appointment. Finally, they moved the High Court."
