AR Rahman concert to be held today

To raise the enthusiasm of the ICC World Cup T20, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will organise "BCB Celebration Concert" featuring Indian musician AR Rahman and Senegalese American R&B artist Akon that are scheduled to be held today (Thursday) at Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city, reports BSS.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to be present in the gala occasion that will begin at 4.30 pm.
Indian popular music director, singer and writer AR Rahman has already reached Dhaka with his 130 associates to perform live concert.
Apart from AR Rahman, famed singer Runa Laila, Sabina Yasmin, Kumar Biswajit, Mamtaj, LRB, Miles, Ornob of Bangladesh will also render songs during the concert.
The history of cricket will be upheld using three-dimension technology before starting the concert. The function will end with massive fireworks.
The gates of the stadium will be open for the ticket holders at 3:00 pm.
