Arafat's wife meets Khaleda in sub-jail

Sharmila Rahman, wife of Arafat Rahman Koko, Friday met her detained mother-in-law and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia in her makeshift jail on the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban compound.
"Arafat's wife Sharmila Rahman along with Sharmila's grandmother Sahana Afzal entered the sub-jail at about 3:15 pm and had a meeting with Khaleda Zia for about 40 minutes", DIG (Prisons) Shamsul Haider Siddiqui told the UNB.
Asked about their discussions, the DIG (Prisons) said, "We don't know what they discussed, as the jail officials were outside the room where they met, but they came out at about 3:55 pm."
Earlier, Sharmila along with Tarique's wife Jobaida Rahman Thursday went to the special jail gate to meet her mother-in-law, but the jail authorities allowed only Jobaida to meet her.
Khaleda Zia was sent to the sub-jail after her arrest on September 03.
