CHITTAGONG, Jun 6 (UNB): Arambagh KS beat Chittagong Abahani by 3-0 goals in the day's lone return league match of the B. League at the MA Aziz Stadium here Wednesday.
With this result, Arambagh KS improved their position in the league table securing 16 points while Chittagong Abahani remained at 10 points, both playing 12 matches.
Abahani Limited dominate the league table with 22 points, just one point ahead of Mohammedan SC and Mutijoddha Sangsad KC and two points ahead of Sheikh Russell KC, all playing 11 matches.
In the day's match, Nikodemas, Thomas and Iddi scored one goal each for Arambagh KS, which led the first half 1-0.
Nikodemas put Arambagh KS ahead in the 14th minute (1-0) while Thomas doubled the margin in the 48th minute (2-0) and Iddi scored the third and final goal for Arambagh KS in the 49th minute (3-0).
Earlier, in the first phase, Arambagh KS edged past Chittagong Abahani by a solitary goal.
