Aramit Cement approves 12pc cash dividend

Aramit Cement Limited, a leading cement company of the country, has approved 12 per cent cash dividend for its shareholders for the year 2009, said a press release.
The approval was given at the 14th annual general meeting (AGM) of the company at Peninsula in Chittagong recently.
Chairman and Managing Director of the company Saifuzzaman Chowdhury presided over the meeting.
Aramit Cement directors Md Amirul Islam, Md Iftikhar-uz-Zaman, Dina Ahsan and SM Jamal Ahmed, Independent Director SM Rezaur Rahman, Executive Director and Company Secretary Md Ibrahim Khalil attended the AGM.
