Aramit Cement holds 28th AGM

The 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Aramit Cement PLC, was held on Monday using hybrid system (both physical and online presence).
The meeting was presided over virtually by SM Alamgir Chowdhury, Chairman & Independent Director of the company, says a statement.
Managing Director Rukhmila Zaman and Directors Md Habib Ullah and Paritosh Sarker attended the meeting virtually.
Moderated by Company Secretary Syed Kamruzzaman, the meeting was also attended by Chief Financial Officer Muhammed Shah Alam, along with a significant number of shareholders.
During FY 2023-24, the company sold 18,051.83 tonnes of cement amounting to Tk 142.62 million. The company contributed an amount of Tk 31.56 million to the national exchequer in the form of Value Added Tax and Income Tax.
The Chief Financial Officer of the company replied to various queries of the shareholders. Finally, the shareholders approved Directors' Report, Audited Financial Statements and Auditors' Report thereon for the year ended June 30, 2024.
