Argument afresh to begin May 8

A Dhaka court has set May 8 for arguments afresh on the Ramna Batamul blast case of 2001, reports UNB.
Second Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge M Ruhul Amin Monday fixed the date, dismissing a defence plea of accepting the list of defence witnesses.
Earlier, the court recorded further deposition of the latest investigation officer (IO) of the case.
During his deposition, the eighth IO, Abu Hena M Yusuf, submitted a sketch map over the plan of the blast operation that took place during Pahela Baishakh celebrations of Chhayanaut on April 14 in 2001, leaving 10 people dead and injuring scores of others.
