Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel arrested a person along with a pistol and two magazines at Benapole union in Sharsha Upazila in Jessore on Saturday night. The arrestee was identified as Rahima Khatun, 32. Being tipped off about firearms being smuggled from India through Benapole frontier, a BGB team conducted a drive in Putkhali border point and arrested her along with the pistol and magazines, according to a news agency.
