Arms, ammo recovered in Bogra: 6 held

Detectives recovered firearms, ammunitions and arrested six people, including listed terrorist, from Nogra-Sariakandi Road at Chhatiantola in Bogra on Wednesday. Law enforcers also seized a private car from the possession of the arrestees. Senior Assistant Police Super (B-Circle) of Bogra Gaziur Rahman said a team of the Detective Branch (DB) of police conducted a special drive and arrested 6 terrorists, including Jamil Ahmed Shuvo, from the area. They also seized four foreign-made pistols, four magazines and 14 rounds of bullet from their possession. Gaziur Rahman said, being informed, a special team of DB police halted a private car, carrying gang leader Shuvo and his aides Abdul Hadi, Anwar Hossain Rana, Moniruzzaman Moni, Rajib Sultan and Suruj Mia. The arrestees were returning from a reported killing mission in Gabtoli upazila of Bogra district around 2:00am, he added, according to a news agency.
