Arms, ammunition recovered from terrorists' den

BANDARBAN, Sept 17 (UNB): Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) members and police, in a joint drive, recovered some arms and ammunition from a den of terrorists at Kashem tila in Rezu Amtoli border of Naikhangchhari Upazila Wednesday.
Acting on secret information, police and BDR troops from Reju Amtoli, Reju and Monjoypara camps conducted the raid in the morning and recovered six one and two barrel guns, four tents, some ammunition and dried food.
Sensing the presence of law enforcers the terrorists fled.
Naikhangchhari BDR battalion commander Lt Col Shafiul Azam said they have been trying to learn the identities of the terrorists.
