Arms dealers held with firearms

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested three arms dealers along with firearms, bullets and magazines, in Shibganj upazila headquarters in Chapainawabganj on Saturday evening.
The arrestees were identified as Raja Mia, 37,of Telkupi village, Adur Rashid, 24, of the same village and Masud Rana, 20, of Parchouka village of the upazila, according to a news agency on Jan 19.
Lt Col Anwar Latif, commanding officer of Rab-5, Rajshahi, said being tipped-off, a team of Rab conducted a drive in the area around 6pm and arrested the trio along with three pistols, one revolver, 11 rounds of bullets and five magazines.
