Arms trader held with pistol, bullets

Detectives arrested an alleged arms trader in possession of a foreign-made pistol, one magazine and five rounds of bullet from Dharmatala Road in Khanpur area of Narayanganj city on Thursday. The arrested is Mir Rasel, son of Mir Anwar Hossain, a resident of Natun Hajiganj ACI Panir Kal area of Siddhirganj. A team of Detective Branch (DB) of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested Rasel along with a foreign-made pistol, 1 magazine and five bullets. A case was filed, according to a news agency.
