Army basketball meet begins

Inter-Area Basketball Competition 2010 of Bangladesh Army started at 36 AD Regiment Artillery play ground, Mirpur Cantonment Thursday under the overall supervision of 6 Independent ADA Brigade, reports BSS.
Commander, 6 Indepen-dent ADA Brigade, Brigadier General Noor Mohammad Noor Islam inaugurated the competition as the chief guest, an ISPR press release said.
In the opening match 55 Infantry Division team defeated 6 ADA Brigade team by 108-86 score.
Twelve teams from Bangladesh Army are taking part in the eleven-day meet.
