Army chief made NSC chairman

Army Chief Moeen U Ahmed has been appointed chairman of the National Sports Council (NSC) and its executive committee. Youth and Sports Ministry Sunday issued a notification to this effect. "The government has given the appointment under provision of section-5 of the National Sports Council (Amended) Act 1974," it said. —UNB
