Army chief off to Switzerland

Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed left Dhaka for Switzerland on Tuesday on an official visit, says a press release.
During his stay in Switzerland, Mr Shafiuddin will visit the ordnance factory of RheinMetall Air Defence Company there. He will pay a courtesy call on high-ranking military officials of Switzerland.
After wrapping up his visit, the Army chief will leave Switzerland on October 09.
He is expected to return home on October 11.
