Army crush Madartek in Fed Cup Rugby

Bangladesh Army crushed Madartek Rugby Club by 72-5 points in the Dimond Melamine Federation Cup Rugby tournament opener at the Paltan Maidan ground in the city Thursday, reports UNB.
Earlier, National Sports Council secretary Ashok Kumar Biswas inaugurated the six-team meet as the chief guest. In today's matches, Bangladesh Amateur Rugby Club will face Madartek Rugby Club at 4:15 pm while Flame Boys' Rugby Club will meet Kanchon Rugby Warriors at 4:45 pm in the other match at the same venue.
The participating teams are: Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Amateur Rugby Club, Madartek Rugby Club, Flame Boys' Rugby Club, Madaripur District Sports Association and Kanchon Rugby Warriors.
