Army emerges champion in Services Kabaddi

Bangladesh Army team emerged champions in the Services Kabaddi League beating Bangladesh Rifles by 26-24 points with one creditable lona in the final at Mirpur Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium Tuesday, reports UNB.
Mohammad Rabiul of the Army team was adjudged the best player of the tournament.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Abdul Qaiyum Shikhder of the Bangladesh Police team retired from the game Tuesday.
Chief operating officer of Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) Col (retd) M Wali Ullah witnessed the final match and distributed the prizes.
Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation general secretary Mohammad Nazrul Islam, tournament committee chairman Badar Uddin Ahmed were, among others, present on the occasion.
