Army officer, his brother held with Phensidyl

SIRAJGANJ, Jul 16 (UNB): Police arrested an Army officer and his brother along with 786 bottles of Phensidyl from Gol Chattar area near Jamuna Bridge West thana Thursday night.
The arrested was identified as Reza Shah Mohammad Zillullah (50), an engineer of Army Engineering Corps working at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka, and his younger brother Mashiur Rahman (40).
The army official resides at 93/1 Biswas Charan Das Street at Azimpur in city.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of police, led by second officer of Jamuna Bridge West Thana Riaz Uddin, stopped a Dhaka-bound private car coming from Naogaon, recovered the contraband drugs and detained the Army officer and his brother at about 11:45 pm.
The private car carrying the two men was also seized. Police later informed the matter to Bogra Cantonment and handed over Zillullah to an Army Colonel, who came to Jamuna West Bridge Thana from Bogra Cantonment at 4:35 am Friday.
