Army, PDB reach final in V-Day Volleyball

Bangladesh Army and Power Development Board (PDB) moved into the final of the Shahjalal Islami Bank Victory Day Volleyball tournament eliminating their rivals in the semifinals at Dhaka Volleyball Stadium in the city on Tuesday, reports UNB.
The two teams will meet each other on Wednesday in the title-deciding match that will kick-off at 3 pm at the same venue.
FBCCI President M Shahfiul Islam Mohiuddin will be the chief guest in the final and later he will distribute the prizes. Managing Director and CEO of the meet's sponsor Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd Forman R Chowdhury will be present as the special guest.
In the day's semifinals, Bangladesh Army eliminated Titas Club by 25-18, 25-19, 25-9 points while PDB defeated Bangladesh Navy by 25-16, 28-30, 19-25, 25-21, 15-10 points in a keenly contested match.
